Heritage Centre portrays the history of the area, from as far back
as the Covenanters in the seventeenth century. It also covers
the history of the iron and coal industry in Shotts and the surrounding
area. Family research facilities are also available.

O'Shotts Church
The Kirk
O'Shotts Church that stands today was built in 1821. The original
Church was dedicated to Saint Catherine of Sienna. In the graveyard
by the Church there is a Watch House which was used by those protecting
the graveyard during the times of the bodysnatchers.
