The oldest house in Glasgow was built in 1471 for the Lord of Provan, an official of Glasgow Cathedral which lies just across Castle Street.
  The visitor is free to explore its historical artifacts displayed over three floors. At the rear of the building lies a tranquil mediaeval garden.
