To the west of Glasgow (only thirty minutes by car)
lies one of the world's most famous stretches of water.
Romanticised in song and poem, Loch Lomond remains a beautiful
area for the visitor to explore.
In the summer months, the Loch is a favourite venue for water
sports. |

Luss Village
|
On the east side of the Loch, the West Highland Way passes Rowardennan
on its route north.
While, on the west shore, picturesque little villages, such
as Luss, still flourish. Here a nearby visitor's centre explores
the history and geology of the loch. |
