i'll start with the boring
stuff and try to keep it short, i was born in
Newlands on the south side netherauldhouse road
in the pre-fabs oct 1949 when i was 4 years old
we emigrated to australia however due to my
mother being diagnosed with terminal cancer we
only stayed for 6 months, you would not think i
would remember much but i loved perth and can
remember it all. on returning to scotland we
lived for a short time in dunoon or doon the
watter as we say in glasgow, my next move was to
holmlea rd in cathcart after my dad died in 1963
i lived with my sister in clydebank (drumry) for
a short period when we moved to bearsden, from
there i went to stay in edinburgh (ponton hse)an
orphanage located at 6/7 magdala cres in
haymarket in july 1967 i joined the royal
engineers whilst in the army i was able to travel
quite a bit 2 tours in cyprus 51/2 yrs in germany
3months in canada and i loved it all the people
in quebec could have been friendlier after all we
were building them a road but i think history may
have played a part in things after the army i
came home to glasgow where apart from a short
spell in west africa i have been ever since.thats
it my hobbies are photography(landscapes &
wildlife) leather working which i'm just starting
out in (all advice greatly appreciated)where can
you buy saddlery grade leather nowadays? i also
collect knives & love boxer dogs they are the
best canines in the world i'm interested in
falconry & go for my first lesson this
spring, flying in anything is my passion i spend
a lot of time with flight sims i love most music
from metel to classics and most things in between
i also love history especially about glasgow so
if i can help you i will if i din't know it
already and there's alot of that i'll go and find
out. thats all folks write me JIMMIE. p.s. i hate
