Royal Burgh of Elie and Earlsferry.

Elie
is a popular holiday destination, known for its sandy beeches and
friendly village atmosphere. For the more adventurous, try the ‘chain
walk’, a challenging trail round the cliff base, using chains as
climbing aids giving access to ‘Macduffs cave’. Elie also
offers two golf courses, and modern tennis courts where lessons
are available in the summer months. It is also the perfect place
for watersports, and the harbour offers a sheltered area for windsurfing,
canoeing and sailing. |
St
Monans, Pittenweem, Anstruther
and Crail are all very worth a visit.
It is possible to walk from Elie to Anstruther in a day, taking in many
of the attractions on route.
