In 1870 the University moved
to its current location on Gilmorehill in the West End of the city.
Today the University has Faculties covering the Arts, Divinity, Engineering, Law, Science, Social Science, Medicine, Education, Computing and Veterinary Science. Close collaboration is maintained with Industry and various Medical Centres in and around the City of Glasgow. |
The University welcomes visitors to the
Hunterian Museum; the Hunterian Art Gallery; Charles Rennie Mackintosh House
and the University Visitor's Centre. (Near Hillhead Underground Station) |
