Callander was famous as the setting for one of Scottish television's best loved dramas. Dr Finlay's Casebook was filmed in the fictional town of Tannochbrae but the house which was Finlay's 'home' (Arden House) is real enough and welcomes guests throughout the summer. St Kessogs Church in the Main Street now houses Callender's excellent visitor centre with exhibitions depicting Rob Roy and the Trossachs.
